Elisia Fay Hellwig surprised us and made an early debut (at 36 1/2 weeks) Monday, May 28th at 1:01 AM. Troy and I both had the feeling that it would be convenient to have a baby over the holiday weekend, but we didn't think it would really happen! After having false labor all day Sunday, I started having real contractions Sunday evening (after cooking dinner for the whole family, lol!). We arrived at the hospital at 8, were "officially" admitted by 10 (once they decided I really was in labor!), shortly thereafter had an epidural, and Elisia was here by 1 am! At birth she weighed a whopping 5 pounds 2 ounces and had gone down to 4 lb 15 oz on Wednesday when we came home. She is healthy and a good eater and sleeper. She is so beautiful and we all love her very much, especially Brian! Welcome home!
