January was quite an evenful month for us! But, for the sake of time (and since it's already February) I'll be brief. The most exciting thing that happened was a visit from Troy's sisters, including a surprise visit from his youngest sister, Emily!
Erika and her two kids, Eli and Eva, came in first, followed a few days later by Britney. A few days after that, we were at Troy's parents' house, the doorbell rings, and there stands Emily. We were so surprised and excited!
We had so many fun adventures - click on the picture if you want to see them all: playing with the cousins, going to COSI, and swimming at Ft. Rapids. So much fun!
In the middle of the week, however we did have a minor setback: poor Brian had a sledding accident! The CAT Scan showed a linear skull fracture. Our doctor thought he had a punctured eardrum and because Brian was so sleepy through this whole process we were sent to Dayton Children's hospital. In between Brian had a priesthood blessing. We truly believe it was because of this blessing he was able to bounce back so fast. When we reached the hospital he was ready to run and play. And the doctors found no problems with his ear.

Because of his injury we had to be pretty careful with Brian the rest of the week. But he was still able to play and participate in all the fun things we did!
Last of all, we had family pictures done - always a huge undertaking but the results were worth it!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the family pictures. They turned out great!
Poor Brian. Glad he is feeling better. Priesthood blessings defiantly help. I am so grateful for them.
