Blog Woes

Dear Moms Who Blog:

How do you do what you do? I have so many pictures I'd love to share with my faithful viewers, yet I can't seem to find the time to sit down at the computer for 5 minutes to get it done. If I'm not feeding or changing Ellie, I'm pumping or doing laundry or dishes, or running upstairs to turn her music back on because she started crying again. So, please forgive me for my lack of pictures lately. If you would like to see the whole collection, please come see us in Ohio and we'll do a really cool slide show with our media center. :)

Actually, we really are doing okay. Just so busy and tired! Not from lack of sleep, thank goodness. I don't know what I'd do if Ellie stopped sleeping through the night. Brian is up before the crack of dawn, "Good Morning to you! I want fruit snacks! I want attic!" (He goes up to the attic to watch T.V. and eat a snack so I can either sleep some more, feed Ellie, or take a shower). Lately, he's been stripping down and jumping in the shower with me, which is a new experience for me; Troy has always been the one to shower with Brian. Sunday, I locked the door and he cried outside the door the entire time. When I opened it, he was standing there trying to get his Sunday vest off without unbuttoning it, "It's stuck!" He is so funny. Here are a few Brian quotes:

"What are you doing?"
"Where are we going?"
"What's that?"
"Where's daddy, Sariah, Aunt Denae, Uncle Sean, etc.?"

And my favorite, "Hold me, my mommy." What a cutie.

Troy's getting him started at a young age: More Power!

We had a fun morning at the pumpkin patch

As for Ellie, she is a growing girl! I can't believe how much she changes every day. She's also a very active little girl and is following in Brian's jumping shoes. Right now it's more of a march; she jumps from one foot to the other. She also is very good at getting your attention. If you're not paying enough attention to her, she'll let you know with a big, "Ahhhhhh!" More of a yell than a scream, she hasn't quite grasped the idea of consonants (ba ba ba, ga ga ga, etc.). We love her little hollers, nevertheless, and think they're really cute. She also has quite the smile and charms everyone who looks at her. We love her so much!!

Thanks for visiting Auntie Em! The kids miss you!

What a sweet, adorable, girl

Right in the middle of jumping, she just konks off, lol!

My happy family (minus one)
