Ellie is 5 Months! Almost Half-way to a Year!

I can't believe how time has flown. Ellie has gotten so big. Every time we go to church someone comments on how they don't recognize her - who is this baby? She really is such a sweet baby. She smiles all the time. Even when she's crying up in her bed, the second she sees you looking into the crib, she immeiately stops crying and smiles. Ellie is so engaging - she loves attention. Her means of communication right now are grining, blowing rapsberries (loudly, in the middle of sacrament meeting), "singing", and yelling at the top of her lungs. :) She is also VERY ticklish, although she hasn't figured out what the heck is happening when you tickle her. She's actually started getting mad and will yell and cry if you tickle her for too long. What a funny kid. She is so beautiful and we love her so much!

Brian is Brian and such a boy! He's working on the whole potty thing and is actually pretty good at it! He still has lots of accidents, though, and won't poop on the potty yet. So far bribery, rewards, and punishments haven't worked. We're not stressing over it, though. Like Aunt Kathy said, he won't be going to kindergarten in Pampers! Most of all, I can't believe how he's growing up. He loves helping daddy and loves using tools. He loves being a big boy!
